I am looking for a larger house with at least 80m² and a private garage or parking space that's on private land connected directly to the house so I don't have to compete with neighbors or walk long distances with groceries, for example (plus you can't suspend your car document if you park on the street while not using it). I am willing to move to less desirable cities on the western coast of the country and to pay more rent in exchange for more space, better sound isolation (so I can cook or vacuum anytime of the day or the night) as I work from home and I am location independent. I wasn't able to learn Dutch yet, so I need an area that accepts English speakers well. Of course, those would be the ideal features but I am pretty sure that I will likely only get a couple of them, but that would already be a win until I can afford to buy something. I have no children or pets, I am single and 45 years old. I would also love an elderly oriented neighborhood and I would be ok with a clause that prevents me from ever having children living in the property (or pets) if I am allowed to move in (many properties require 55+). I have a brother that can register with me upon moving (I'll sign the contract alone no matter what) or I can register alone, whichever makes the exchange easier (some houses require 2 people).
